Adam Taylor's Collection
Adam Taylor provided me with these poems from his collection. The ones below were transcribed by me, but not edited, as I put them together from the scraps of paper on which they had originally been scribbled. Adam kept these fragments of his companions' thoughts after they were left behind at the end of the Civil War, and now I present them to you as a representation of the thoughts and feelings of the Harbinger of War and her companions. I give here what I believe to be the only written primary sources of the lives of these travelers that you may better believe the account I have given of their journeys.
